Consider/Approve Central Cafeteria Equipment Bid |

Background Information: In addition to advertising, we solicited bids for the purchase of a convection steamer (specifications attached) for the Hillcrest Elementary Cafeteria. Funds are available for this purchase within the Central Cafeteria Fund budget for the current fiscal year as previously approved by the Board. We received bids from five (5) companies, which are summarized on the bid request tally sheet. Individual bids were as follows: Great Lakes Hotel Supply Company – $17,191.00 The low bid, including installation, was submitted by KaTom Restaurant Supply in the amount of $14,799.90. This company is located in Russellville, TN. Staff Recommendation: I recommend approval of the low bid as submitted by KaTom Restaurant Supply in the amount of $14,799.90. |
